Nintendo Circle Pad could be a wonderful add-on for the Nintendo 3DS, which is considered a worthy accessory by gaming fanatics all over the world. The Circle Pad Pro, in case you have been wondering, is a sizable extension for the console that plugs into the underside and houses the entire unit. Its primary function is to add a second analog joystick, as is seen with most home console controllers.

The device will ship alongside Capcom’s compatible title Resident Evil: Revelations. Other compatible games include Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D and Kingdom Hearts 3D.

Nintendo has said that the device would come on February 7th at GameStop for a suggested retail price of $19.99.

In order for games to use the Circle Pad Pro, they need to be optimized for it.

Gamers should not expect that buying a Circle Pad Pro will bring a second analog to older 3DS games, because it will not. The add-on is currently criticized severely due the manufacturer’s strategy of not adding another stick.

However, the device  for $19.99 seems like a decent offer and may be given a try. The enhanced character control the device is able to offer the player could also be seen as a unique experience too.

The Circle Pad Pro gaming add-on is capable of running 480 hours on a single AAA battery, and that indeed is a plus. Don’t you think so?
