A few weeks ago, you had heard about the two 4G LTE handsets – HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket – that were released on the AT&T network. A white version of Skyrocket is what we have found for you now.
The black version of the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread smartphone was earlier put for sale carrying a price tag of $150 and a two-year contract. The pure white Skyrocket that looks beautiful in the picture has appeared on the Amazon list with the same package.
Apart from the color change in the case, the handset is packed with all the same features that were seen earlier. Meanwhile, it is also confirmed that AT&T will be bringing the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update on to the device in 2012. The white Skyrocket was expected, as Samsung had already introduced the white, pink and black versions of the Galaxy S II.
To refresh your memory, here is a brief outline of the Skyrocket specs. The 0.37-inch thin handset is equipped with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB built-in memory.
An 8-megapixel rear shooter with 1080p video recording and LED flash and a 2-megapixel snapper front for video calls can be used to capture the precious moments of your life. The device supported by an 1850 mAh battery comes with Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, HDMI, NFC, 4G LTE, a microSD card slot and lot more.
Though it has appeared at Amazon, it is not clear as to when the snow white Skyrocket will reach customers. Stay tuned as we go looking for more on that.
