Adobe AIR has been updated along with Adobe Flash Player 11, with a whole lot of improvements and performance enhancements. You will sure like the front facing camera support for your Android.
These are the new features in the Adobe AIR 3: support for native extensions that allows Action Script developers to create and use native libraries, captive runtime support for desktop, Android and TV, Background Audio Playback Support for iOS, and game controller API. Also, AIR is integrated into Stage 3D.
There’s also support for speaker control and more color depth, as well as JPEG-XR file compression support and more secure streaming.
You must update your application descriptor file to the 3.0 namespace in order to access the new AIR 3.0 APIs and behavior. If your application does not require the new AIR 3.0 APIs and behavior, you are not required to update the namespace.
