Samsung Wave 3 Set for Europe Debut This October; US May Have to Wait a Bit More

Be ready Sammy fans, as you will be able to grab the new Samsung Wave 3 smartphone around October. We get to hear that the Wave 3 will be launched first in Europe in October. Earlier the Korean company had revealed the new Wave lineup comprising the Wave 3, Wave M and Wave Y at IFA Berlin. All the three smartphones were shown as powered by the Bada 2.0 operating system.

The chic smartphone enclosed in an anodized aluminum case attracted everyone at the IFA with its impressive specs. The handset sports a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, a 1.4 GHz Samsung Exynos processor, 3GB internal memory and dual cameras-a 5 megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and a front facing VGA snapper.

It supports 14.4 Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi Direct, 720p HD video recording, GPS, a micro SD card slot up to 32 GB and much more. A 1500mAh battery backs the 122g sleek handset.

You can also enjoy the smart OS features like Bada Multitasking, ChatON, an HTML 5 capable web browser, app shortcuts and voice commands.

The US fans will have to wait a tad more to hold the smartphone in their hands.  Stay tuned as we go looking for the price and official details of the handset.
