There is more of Sony’s Play Station Vita in the news. This one is simply a visual treat at the annual TGS: a veritable rainbow of the prototypes of the gaming console. On the rear of Sony’s TGS setup, there were eight Vitas displayed, in eight different colors, along with accessories, mock retail packaging and faux game cards.

But the color is just for the looks, the PlayStation Vita will come only in basic black when it launches in December, according to the PlayStation representatives at the TGS.

Vita features a 5-inch OLED multi touchscreen display, a quad core ARM Cortex A9 core CPU, built-in stereo speakers and microphone, front and rear facing cameras, built in GPS and WiFi connectivity. It will also have external battery pack option, which is expected to give up to seven hours of battery life.

We have all the color and glamour just for you here, along with an image of Gravity Daze’s mockup retail box. Check them out.
