It’s been a long wait, but NTT DoCoMo has finally done it. The carrier has launched their high-end product in Japan – the Xperia ray SO-03C smartphone.
The Sony Ericsson- manufactured smartphone touts a 53-mm thick, lightweight aluminum body and comes with some amazing futuristic technologies.
Under the hood, this offering in the Xperia line up equips a quicker 1GHz CPU that runs on Android 2.3 OS. The handheld integrates many advanced technologies, including the xLOUD audio technology that delivers unprecedented sound, and an Exmor R for mobile-powered 8.1-megapixel camera with face-detection and auto focus capabilities to guarantee superior quality videos and images.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia ray SO-03C has been made with the woman buyers in mind and has a design that can “fit in a woman’s hand.”
Apart from these remarkable additions, the Xperia ray SO-03C also sports a high-resolution, 3.3-inch touchscreen Reality Display that puts to play the Mobile BRAVIA Engine, and Sony Ericson’s POBox Touch 4.3, a exclusive predictive text-input scheme. This feature, in fact, is quite useful in typing either Japanese or English faster and easier.
NTT DoCoMo will offer the device in three smart shades. The carrier plans to bring the smartphone to the market on August 27th. Pre-orders will begin on August 12th.
