The Samsung Series 3 notebooks hide under the hood an Intel Core i3 processor. The company is also offering options for customers to upgrade it to the Intel Core i5 processor. Talking of other specs, 2 GB of RAM and Windows 7 OS will be standard for every model.
Connectivity preferences include HDMI, and SD card slot, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and Gigabit Ethernet as well as 2 USB 2.0 ports. Also the Series 3 notebook comes with a mic, headphone, VGA, and HDMI output.
The new series of notebooks will sport matte displays irrespective of the varying display sizes. We hear that battery and optical drives options also could change according to difference in screen sizes. The smaller notebooks will be thinner and lighter as they would come minus the optical disc drives and are likely to have an irreplaceable 6 cell battery
