Did you know, dozens of iPad 2 devices have been shipped to Apple Stores labeled for use for employees! We hear the move is a forerunner of Apple’s confidential decision to make their staff to switch from their present iPod Touch to iPad 2 while communicating with customers.
If the presence of boxes of iPad 2 devices at various Apple retail stores is anything to speculate on, it is highly likely that the Easy Pay terminal at the Apple retail stores will also change since they are presently iPod Touch-based.
However, switching from the comparatively smaller iPod Touch to iPad 2 will give a better feeling for the customers and for the executives as the bigger display will come handy when displaying data, features of the products and for easier transactions.
The rumors also suggest that the iPad maker is also planning to roll out a new version for its RetailMe software meant for the retail employees. However, it will be difficult for the executives to keep the bigger iPad 2 in their hand as they used to hold the iPod Touch.
It is heard that the Cupertino-based company is all set to start training sessions for its Apple Stores’ staff about to how to make most of the new tool in the business.
