Panasonic will launch a 15.6-inch mobile computer, christened CF-B10, under their Let’s note brand. The company claims this device to be the lightest mobile computer in the world with that display size.

The Panasonic CF-B10 will feature a built-in optical disc drive and will weigh around 1.88kg. Compared to peers that come with 15.6-inch screens and weigh an average of 2.8 kg, the Panasonic device is tiny to say the least. The mobile PC comes crafted with high-strength magnesium, enabling use of thinner parts so as to cut down on the weight.
The CF-B10 will display different types of documents at one go, as the screen of the device can be divided into up to four sections in a total of 10 formations.
We expect the device to roll out in the Japanese markets on March 11th. The CF-B10 will be available for 175,000 yen ($2130) and comes with a 500GB HDD, 4GB memory. It will be powered by the latest Intel Core i5 processor that offers great operational speeds.
The company is also expected to introduce four more upgraded computers as part of their Let’s note line-up and these models are likely to be in the markets this February.
