CES 2011 witnessed one of ‘the’ products to be launched, Samsung’s RF4289 four door fridge. You might be thinking what is different about this new fridge. Well, it comes equipped with WiFi, yes, we are not kidding.

The refrigerator also has an 8 inch LCD touchscreen situated above the dispenser in the front. Consumers can get access to a series of kitchen-relevant applications, recipes or check the weather forecast, make notes, view Google calendar and also put a photo slide show.
As for its other features, the refrigeration is excellent courtesy of the Twin Cooling Plus System. It has 28 cu. ft storage capacity providing ample space for consumables.
It also has Samsung’s new Smart Divider that allows for further customization of the drawers to organize food. The fridge comes dressed in a stainless steel exterior, but that actually makes reading the LCD screen difficult from a few feet away.
But it would have been awesome if the fridge came with features like remote temperature adjustment or food spoilage alerts. The software details and the price have not yet been announced.
Samsung had also unveiled the Flex Oven, world’s first 30” freestanding electric range with two separate chambers in the same oven cavity, and Samsung’s 5.0 High Capacity Front-Loading Washer (WF520), at CES.
