There is some budget news coming from the CES as Acer unveiled the Acer beTouch E210 Android handset there. This device is based on the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS platform and we are expecting an a price-tag which will be affordable by the common folk around.
The beTouch E210 is powered by a ST Ericsson PNX6715, 416MHz processor. It has 256MB of RAM and 512Mb of ROM. It is also notable that the device bears a full QWERTY keyboard.
The device offers connectivity via HSDPA/HSUPA 900/2100 MHz or 850/1900MHz or GSM /Edge 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz. Connectivity options also lists WiFi, integrated GPS and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.
The company has crafted the phone with a 2.6-inch QVGA display. It also has a 3.2-megapixel camera at the rear. There is a share button included and it is intended to help the shutterbugs to share the pictures easily on their social networks.
The company offers this gadget in two colors – light silver and shiny black. It is expected to hit the stores in the UK on 11th March 2011.
Although the pricing details are not let out by the company, we expect an attractive price-tag that could pursue customers to get their hands on this Froyo handset.
