If you are one of those shoppers who opted for picking your Apple products from eBay, here’s how you helped the online retailer score some brownie points. The online auction website has made it official that iPhone related products and accessories formed the most searched for and purchased items during 2010.
As many as 1,634,674 iPhone 4 related items were sold on the website during the year. eBay has listed out the shoppers’ favorite on its site for the year, and as usual electronic gadgets finished on top.
When it comes to Apple products, eBay seems to be selling most of them! The iPad has been picked up like hot cakes on eBay, with the number showing that over 621,399 iPad related products changed hands during the year. The iPad, in fact, has turned out to be eBay’s fifth most popular item.
Considering that these products were not launched at the beginning of the year, the sales numbers are simply awesome. Don’t you too think so?
This doesn’t mean that it’s not just the Apple products that have seen good sales on eBay during the year.
The top ten items that eBay shoppers searched for include the iPhone, Barbie, Military jackets, Hot Wheels, iPad, World cup, The Beatles, Silly Bandz, Alice in Wonderland and New Orleans Saints – in that order.
