In the first T20 game of the two-match series, Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh by two runs in a thrilling clash. The two teams will now face each other in the second T20 at The Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh on February 14, 2014.

In the first match, Thisara Perera got rid of Anamul Haque off the final ball to help Sri Lanka register a dramatic 2-run victory over Bangladesh. Sri Lanka, the top-ranked T20 side in the world, scored 168 runs playing first and restricted Bangladesh to 166-7 to win the match. If Bangladesh has to square the series, they need to win this final match.

The main concern for the team is its bowling department. If they manage to keep a check on the Sri Lankan batsmen and keep striking wickets at regular intervals, they can improve their chances of winning the match.
