Pakistan Under-19s will play Afghanistan Under-19s in the first of the three-ODI series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Jan 21, 2014.

The 2nd and 3rd ODI’s will be played on 23rd and 24th respectively. The matches will start at 9:30 a.m. local, 04:30 GMT, 10:00 India time.

In order to groom the younger generation, most of the cricket playing countries are organizing bilateral series involving their respective U19 series’. There was recently a under 19 World cup organised which was won by India defeating their arch rival Pakistan.

Afghanistan who has qualified for the Asia Cup 2014, is also looking for younger players to make a mark in their first ever major tournament.  Follow  the Afg vs Pak live score here.

In this series, these two teams will play three-ODI’s. Afghanistan is probably the first country to have touring Pakistan after the terror attack on the bus in which the Sri Lankan players were travelling during their cricket tour.

After that unfortunate terror attack, may the first in the sporting history, All the countries including Bangladesh are not touring Pakistan and the cricket matches involving Pakistan are being played at a neutral venue like the UAE.
