Ajith and Vijay films have clashed at the box office earlier too. The last time this has happened was in 2007 when “Pokkiri” and “Aalwar” released on the same day.
Now with “Jilla” and “Veeram” having come face to face, the battle is onits high pitch. “Jilla” has an advantage this time as superstar Mohanlal appears alongside Vijay in the film and has donned a prominent role.

It needs to be noted that over the past few years, tops tars had been trying to avoid releasing the films simultaneously as they do not want business to suffer due to that.
