Ram Charan Teja’s long awaited Telugu movie “Yevadu” was released in India and across the world on Sunday, Jan 12, 2014.
The movie was released in around 1200 screens despite another big Telugu movie release, Mahesh Babu’s “1 Nenokkadine” that released just two days ago.
“Yevadu” made on a high budget of Rs 50 crores stars South India megastar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja, Shruti Haasan, Amy Jackson. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal have appeared in cameo roles.
The movie which released a day earlier overseas has great reviews from fans.

The morning shows in India which started as early as 6:00 a.m were reportedly housefull. With a Sunday release “Yevadu” occupancy is expected to pick up in multiplexed and single screens for afternoon, evening and night shows.
The movie is expected to easily earn around Rs 15 crores on its 1st day at the box office. The exact stats of collections on day one and two will be updated here soon.
Oneindia Entertainment website gave a rating of 3 stars out of 5 and described the film as, “The movie has a tried and tested story, which is all about a guy, but the handling of the subject makes Yevadu an interesting watch.”
“If you are looking for entertainment without any message, it is good treat for you this Sankrathi”.
GreatAndhra.com also gave arating of 3 out of 5 and wrote, “Serious Mass Masala” and “Revenge Drama(s)”.
“Yevadu” will be dubbed into Tamil language as “Yaar Ivan” and has been named as into “Bhaiyya My Brother” in Malayalam. It was awarded an A certificate from the Censor Board for its excessive violence.
