The Under-19s Asia Cup 2013-2014 is in full swing now. In the opening rounds of the round robin league on December 28, 2013, India U19 beat UAE U19 by a massive 189 runs, Pakistan won by 132 runs against Nepal and Malaysia lost to Bangladesh by nine wickets. The most interesting match result was Afghanistan beating Sri Lanka by 3 wickets and 15 balls remaining.
In the four matches played on December 29, 2013, Pakistan defeated UAE by 150 runs, Sri Lanka won by 255 runs against Malaysia, Bangladesh defeated Afghanistan by 16 runs and India clinched a 9-wicket victory against Nepal.
As of now, the three teams to have won their first two games are India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, with India U19 team leading the charts with highest net run rate.
It will be interesting see India U19 play against the Pakistan U19, as both the teams have been playing good in the tournament so far.
India u-19 and Pakistan-19 have reached the finals to be played on Saturday, Jan 4, 2013.

In the first match against UAE U19, Akhil Herwadkar, Sanju Samson and Ricky Bhui of India U19 played extremely well and scored 101, 65 and 54 runs respectively for the team.
Playing against the total of 320 runs, UAE U19 team could only manage to put 131 runs on board in 40.1 overs, which led India to a massive 189 runs. Fast bowler Deepak Hooda took four wickets for India.
On the other hand, Pakistan U19 also looks to be in great form. On Saturday, Pakistan U19 defeated Nepal Under-19 by 132 runs, thanks to the two centuries from Sami Aslam and Hasan Raza.
Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Kamran Ghulam took four wickets in the match. Since both the teams are playing well, tomorrow’s match is expected to be a treat for the cricket fans.
