Ram Leela review: Promises to be a box office hit

The upcoming romantic-drama takes inspiration from Shakespeare’s epic love story Romeo and Juliet. Nevertheless, before its awaited release on November 15, 2013, the movie has become the talk of the town already.

Be it those tremendous dance moves, the best kissing scene ever (as claimed by Ranveer and Deepika on a TV show) or its supposed disagreement to religious sentiments of Hindus, the movie has everything one could ask for; however, we still need to wait and see how people appreciate this movie.

According to reports, Ranveer availed the expert services of UK professional Lloyd Stevens, who guided him through a 12-week transformation program that involved eating every two hours to get the required look for the movie.

After all, he looks very impressive in the kissing scene, thanks to wonderful work done by him on his physique. The CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) has asked Bhansali to tame the kissing scene and, that too, by 50 per cent at least.

Accordingly, to get the U/A certificate, Bhansali had no other option than to comply with CBFC’s verdict. Certain vulgar hand gestures by Ranveer, alcohol scenes filmed in Gujarat and the above-mentioned disagreement with Hindu religious systems had joined forces to make this movie worth watching.

The movie has some remarkable songs composed by Bhansali, which have received ample appreciation from masses. With everything about the film making the rounds, audiences definitely have every reason to watch it at the nearest theatre soon.
