YouTube Leanback Remote App for Android Devices Launched

YouTube has released a new Android application that will let you control the YouTube Leanback application running on desktops and Google TV from your Android smartphone. This new application has come after Logitech released its Logitech Harmony Android app.

For enjoying the facility that is brought by this new application, you just have to log into your YouTube account from your YouTube Remote app and log into the same account on YouTube Leanback on the computer or TV.

Then you can sit and relax on your couch and browse the videos that you want to watch on your Android YouTube Remote app and queue them up to play on your TV for a larger screen experience just by tapping.

The new Leanback application is currently available as a free download from the Android Market. But it is currently in beta and contains new and experimental features that are not provided in the other YouTube app for Android.
