There have been rumors flying around about the Samsung Zeal handset on Verizon. The latest reports about the handset suggest that the device will be launched on 11th of this month and the device will arrive with the dual-hinge messaging facility.
Reportedly, the device has been spotted in the Verizon website with a 360 degree preview which has described the complete appearance of the device. The phone has been crafted in a rarely seen flip-style format.
But the real highlight of the device is said to be the Magic Keypad which utilizes the E Ink technology to replace the printed keys. This innovation basically helps in the changes in QWERTY keypad according to the applications and conditions used. So when in phone mode, the keypad serves as a regular standard phone keyboard and transforms into a QWERTY keyboard when used for texting.
The 2.6 inch QVGA screen contributes towards the main display unit. It also bears a secondary display, and has a 2 megapixel camera, and a memory card slot for expanding the storage space up to 32GB. The company has also incorporated Bluetooth connectivity with this phone.
But still there are no official announcements about the release of the device. No word on the pricing also. But more details are expected to be out soon. So stay tuned.
