Chetheshwar Pujara and Justin Ontong, the India A, South Africa A captains, are keen on winning the first unofficial four day test between the two teams. The game starts  at the Olympia Park in Rustenburg at 1:00 p.m. India time

The hosts sport full confidence with their recent 1-0 win over Australia A at the same venue. Indians also are in good form following their tri series win this week.

The India A skipper has said that the team is fully prepared and that they will be able to continue with their winning form.

India A won the toss and decided to bat first. When latest reports came in they had scored 73 runs for the loss of one wicket in 32 overs.

He added that the team had played very well in the tri series, and hoped that the momentum they gained in the tournament will help them to post victory against the Proteas too.

The Proteas captain Justin Ontong said that his team has moved on from the disappointing ODI tournament that ended this week. He has been quoted as saying that the team is in very good form as a unit and they have prepared really well for the tournament.

The bowlers have gained valuable experience during the last tri series and this will help them in the test series, he added.

The two skippers are expecting a spinner friendly dry surface, and we can expect some magic from players like Parvez rasool, JP Duminy and Shahbaz Nadeem. Shikhar Dhawan, who scored a 248 run record innings in the tri series, is sure to be the Indian super star.
