If you wish to be a part of the Champions world and that too without paying a penny for the joyride, all you need is a little bit of patience. Champions Online will transcend to free-to-play mode in the first quarter of 2011 and the same has been confirmed by the game publisher Atari.
The revamped version will feature premium content in the form of items, powers, costume pieces and Adventure Packs. Those still wishing to spend a little bit of money will get lucky with most of the content in detail and there will be some undisclosed perks for the gold subscribers.
