The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore is expected to declare the CET 2013 exam results on 27th of May, 2013.
The Common Entrance Test that offers admissions to Medical and Engineering colleges and Universities was held on May 01, 02 and 03, 013 across Karnataka State.
Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2013) offers admission to first year undergraduate courses in Medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering/Technology and Agriculture for the academic year 2013-14.
An estimated 1.39 lakh candidates registered for KCET 2013 admissions. The results can be checked by students by visiting the website http://kea.kar.nic.in/.
Students must secure an aggregate of atleast 45% in their Class XII core subjects (40% for SC/ST) to feature in the merit list of the common entrance test.
If two or more candidates have equal marks then candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be ranked higher.
If they have equal marks in Mathematics, merit is determined on the basis of Physics marks. In case Physics marks are same, merit is decided on basis of the marks the same subjects in Class XII.
If the Class XII marks are the same, the older candidate (based on date of birth) will be ranked higher.
The Karnataka SSLC and PUC 2 results have already been declared this month.
