The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has declared the HSC Science result on May 13 at 11:00 a.m at its official website.
Around 1.10 lakh students appeared for the exam. The examination was conducted in four semester format introduced in June 11 for class XI respectively.
According to this format, the students had to appear for two of the four semester exams in class XI and two exams in class XII.
This year, India’s leading mobile service provider Vodafone will be making the Gujarat Board’s SSC and HSC results available on their mobile phones.
Students can SMS “HSC (seat number)” or “SSC (seat number) to 50111 to get their results on cell phones. Students can also register here to get their results in their email boxes.
The GSHSEB has set the passing marks limit of 132 marks out of 400 in each and every subject, so the students need a score of 132 in each subject to pass the exam.
The students who are unable to score the minimum passing marks will be required to take an improvement test.
The HSC Science result will be one of the qualifying criterion for admission in medical and paramedical courses.
The admission committee has announced that for admission in engineering courses, an aggregate of 50 percent marks scored in the board exams and 50 percent weight age on Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (JEE) score will be considered.
