The SSC and equal exam results will be published at 2:30 p.m. on May 9, 2013.
The declaration of the results is subject to approval from the Prime Minister, according to officials.
The proposal to release the results on the said date has been sent to the PM Sheikh Hasina, according to Inter-Board Coordination Sub-Committee chief Prof Taslima Begum.
In Bangladesh, it is a mandatory rule to take approval from the Prime Minister before the results public examinations are published.
After the go ahead, the country’s Education Minister will declare the results. The results will be published at the official site www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.
Students have to chose either SSC Dakhil or SSC vocational from the menu and then select the board Barisal, Chittagong, Comilla, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Jessore, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Madrasah or DIBS Dhaka.
The SSC class 10 and its equivalent exams were held from Feb 3 and concluded on March 5.
Around 27,063 educational institutions in Bangladesh conducted the SSC exams in which 1,303,203 candidates appeared.Less number of students participated in the exams this year than the previous.
