After losing the toss and batting first, Bangladesh scored 391 runs in their first innings in the 2nd Test against Zimbabwe being played at Harare.
Shakib Al Hasan was the highest scorer for Bangladesh with 80 runs. Nasir Hossain and Mushfiqur Rahim scored 77 and 60 respectively. For Zimbabwe, Chigumbura grabbed three wickets while Meth and Cremer took two a piece. Follow the match live on Cricinfo here.
At the end of the second day’s play, Zimbabwe were at 158 losing four wickets. Bangladesh lead by 233 runs. Bangladesh are trailing the series by 0-1. They need to pull their socks and wind up the Zimbabwe innings for less than 250 or 275 so that they get a decent lead in the first innings.
Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim is confident Bangladesh will bounce back in this Test- We are capable of scoring big runs, we have a couple of days and hopefully we will come back strongly.
