Videocon Zeus Android Eclair Mobile Phones Rolled Out; Four New Devices Gear Up

Videocon has unveiled its new range of Android powered mobile phones. Christened Videocon Zeus, the phone runs Android 2.1 Éclair and comes with a fairly big 3.2 inch multi-touch capacitive display.

Clearly aimed at on-the-go professionals, the Videocon Zeus is powered by a 600 MHz Qualcomm Microprocessor, 5 megapixel camera and offers  connectivity options in the form of Wi-Fi, A-GPS and Push Mail.

Zeus could make an impact in the Indian mobile marketplace for its seamless integration of the internet, and the extremely capable OS.  The Android market enables access to more 70,000 apps  and makes easy download and installation capable. Further, the preloaded apps on the Zeus bring to the users palm a whole new world of internet capabilities.

Videocon, along with the roll out of the Zeus, has also revealed four new handsets  under the V1410, V1603, V1475 and V1606 tags.
