Teen USA Melissa King resigns after sex video goes viral on internet

MSN reported on Feb. 27, 2013 that Melissa King who was crowned as Teen USA,  has resigned after allegations that she featured in an online video which was pornographic in nature.

The Pageant spokesperson has confirmed that she had received a resignation letter from Melissa’s lawyer. The 18-year-old teenage beauty queen has denied her appearance in the five-minute film. She said that there are comments saying that it is her but those comments are not true.

The film shows an 18-year-old woman with a man. While being interviewed by the man in the video in a hotel bed, she admitted that she had taken part in beauty pageants.

She did not give her name in the video. She also said that she turned 18 in March while replying to a question. Interestingly Miss King turned 18 in March last year and she was the reigning Miss Teen Delaware International 2012 at the time of the video being shot.

Now the title belongs to Hailey Lawler, the runner-up of the beauty pageant conducted in last November.
