The Android powered Vertu Ti is gearing up for launch. The smartphone, designed for technically illiterate rich people, could be rated by at least some as an overpriced device. As compared with other smart phones, its performance is average, but comes sporting solid hardware.

Let’s have a look at the specs now. Software-wise, it makes use of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has got a display of 3.7 inch WVGA. Two cameras are incorporated While the rear snapper sports 8 megapixels with auto focus and twin LED flash, the front camera boasts 1.3 megapixels and has a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM and an internal memory of 64GB. Its display is made from sapphire crystal and it gives the device an elegant look.

Made up of 184 parts, the device is fully handmade in England by a single craftsman. Every Vertu-Ti is signed by its craftsman and is heavier than common smart phones like Samsung Galaxy S III and iPhone 5.

It has a very strong casting made from grade 5 Titanium and is suitable for rugged travelers as it can withstand high temperature and humidity. Vertu claims that the new device is 5 times stronger than other smartphones.
