Mega sporting events are the best place to showcase your new products. And there’s nothing bigger than Olympics.
There’s an entire gamut of devices that are being marketed with the London Olympic Games’ tag. One such product is L2012 Pool Camera which will definitely entice any gizmo fan.
The L2012 Pool Camera is actually an underwater camera and it uses Twitter to tweet photos of Olympic swimmers in action.
It is fixed at the bottom of the pool. The camera was first used on July 27 and its first tweet was, “In position under Lane 4. Join me underwater for a different perspective on #Swimming at #London2012.” Obviously this maiden tweet carried a photograph. So far, the L2012 Pool Camera has tweeted 17 times since the Games started.
Another camera, named A L2012 Stadium Cam, has also been set up. This camera can tweet photos of track and field athletes.
