Acer’s latest ultrabook christened Aspire Timeline Ultra M3-581TG was recently unveiled at CeBIT. The ultra-thin laptop is now reported to be up for sale, ahead of the expected date.
The notebook believed to be launched this month itself comes with a dedicated GeForce card, which makes it a best option for game lovers. The Aspire Timeline Ultra M3-581TG boasts a 15.6-inch LCD screen with 1366 x 768 resolutions.
The ultrabook is equipped with an Intel Sandy Bridge processor and NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 640M GPU based on the Kepler architecture. It comes with 6GB of RAM and an optional 500GB hybrid hard disk drive or 256GB pure SSD.
The laptop is packed with a high speed HDMI port, one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, and lot more. The ultrabook offers a battery back up of 8 hours for the normal usage through NVIDIA’s Optimus graphics switching solution.
NVIDIA has also revealed that the popular game Battlefield 3 runs smoothly on the M3-581TG’s ultra settings. The 20mm thin laptop weighs below five pounds. Other notable features are an optical drive, Dolby Home Theatre v4 and a full-sized chiclet keyboard.
Though it is rumored that Acer plans to release the Aspire Timeline Ultra M3-581TG a bit early, the price and exact date of launch is not revealed as yet. Stay tuned to know more details of the powerful Acer ultrabook.
