HTC fans will be excited to hear this. The Taiwan company is ready with their smartphones from the One line up and the unique Dragon series at the MWC. We hear three handsets from the Dragon series will be released only in mainland China.
All the three Dragon smatphones feature a 4-inch screen with 800 x 480 resolutions, a 1 GHz single-core processor and a 5-megapixel camera. The trio, powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, sport Sense 4.0A version UI and Beats Audio technology. The Dragon series, which looks a bit similar to the HTC One V, differs only in the large screen size. Meanwhile, the HTC ImageChip seems to be missing in the Dragon handsets.
Ren Weiguang, HTC president revealed that the Dragon series will only be seen on the three Chinese mainland telecommunication networks – China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom. In the coming days, they are likely to enlarge the Dragon family so as to make an international market foray.
The Dragon series will be coming in customized versions for the three Chinese carriers. The smartphones with different appearances for each carrier will be available as a single-card version in the China Unicom network compared with China Mobile that sports the dual card dual standby variant.
