Guys, what we peeked at the View Sonic stall at the CES was awesome. They have a truck load of new hardware waiting to hit the market. They have a 10 inch ViewPad 10e too, all set to lure lovers of ultra thin devices. The device is impressive with just 9.1 mm thickness and runs the latest IPS technology on its 1024×768 touch screen. The rig comes with Android 3.2 OS. Though the OS is basically meant for smartphones, ViewSonic has tailored it well to fit its new device.

Powered by the 1 GHz processor, it has mini HDMI, micro USB and micro SD card slots. One of the most disappointing things is that it has no access to the Android Market. Slated for shipping by the end of the month, it will carry a $280 price tag.

To add to the show, ViewSonic has still more stuff in their bags. And, they include a dual booting 10pi and 7 inch E70 Android tablet.

Something worth a separate mention is the ViewPhone 3. It is unique for its power to play with dual SIM cards, so you get two providers going in one handset.

Powered by an 800 MHz processor along with 512 MB of RAM, it touts a 3.5 inch wide touch screen and a rear camera that comes with 5 mega pixel resolution. The device runs Android 2.3 operating system.

Another gadget in this group, the 10 inch ViewPad 10pi, can load either Windows 7 Professional or the Android 2.3. A 1.5 GHz Intel Oak Trail processor powers this machine which has a 1280×800 IPS display panel.

The price is expected to be anything close to $850. Is that tempting? Stay tuned for more on that in the coming days.
